This paper studies the effect of dielectric cover layer thickness on circular microstrip patch antenna parameters such as gain, bandwidth, beam-width, radiation patterns, return loss and VSWR. The proposed is designed with 2.4GHz frequency in S-Band region. operating useful ISM band applications. Circular cavity model analysis simulated using HFSS simulation software (Electromagnetic simulator). coaxial probe fed used for design. In this studied experimentally comparing their performance characteristics. results shows that without obtained gain 4.11dB reduced to 2.87dB 5.88dB based layer. bandwidth 3% its from 0.012GHz 0.052GHz effect.
